Analysing a Revit model

Add Custom Integration 1. Click on the icon under the arrow.

  1. Click on Start scan. The time required for the analysis depends on the file size and the number of elements in the file.

  1. Once the analysis is complete click on Project name in the left column.

Data flow

  1. You instruct Forge to start the process

  2. Forge send the extracted data to DAQS Data flow

  3. It is important to know that DAQS does not get your Revit Files.

  4. Your Revit files never leave the Autodesk Servers.
  5. It is only you who can send an instruction from the DAQS platform to request the Autodesk Platform Service (Forge) to get a copy of the Revit file and a copy of the DAQS plugin.
  6. The Revit model is opened on the Autodesk Platform Service and the data is extracted, zipped and send encrypted to the DAQS server.
    • The extracted data is a json file, this file can not be used to recreate a Revit file!
